I was "hired" to write an article about Homestuck...
It’s a comics blog with an academic theory slant (favored philosopher: Foucault). There’s also a lot of stuff about manga and gender; for a comics blog where most of the commentators are dudes who argue about what’s “objectively” better, it’s a really welcoming place.

1. I swear I’ll take a break from writing about Kyary Pamyu Pamyu now.
2. Here’s a topic near to my heart - “weird Japan,” which is often so ridiculous. Kyary and, to some extent, Momoiro seem to be exploiting this, though.
This essay is great and the comments section is horrible.

Kpop Hearts the 80s (mix) →
It’s pretty close to being a Sweetunes mix, but hopefully with enough other stuff to be interesting. Made because I came around to really liking Infinite and that one Girls’ Day song and wondered if there was other similar stuff floating around, XD.
